At Harwell School, we understand that your infant's first months are filled with rapid growth and precious moments. Our Infants Program is designed to provide a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports your baby's development from 3 to 8 months of age.
Discovering the World: At this stage, your infant is beginning to explore the world around them, using their senses to understand their environment. They are fascinated by faces, respond to sounds, and start recognizing familiar voices. This is a critical period for developing trust and attachment, as they learn to feel secure in the presence of caregivers.
Infants are highly attuned to sensory experiences. They explore through touch, taste, sound, and sight, gradually learning to focus on objects and track them with their eyes.
During these months, your baby will start to gain better control over their movements, including lifting their head, rolling over, and eventually sitting up with support.
Your infant will begin to express themselves through smiles, coos, and babbling, forming the foundation for language development and social engagement.
